Hello, I have a baby Green Iguan which is about 7 months old. She has great color, and has shed at least four times since I bought her. She is eating healthy. I recently read that Iguanas like to east the leaves from Fiscus plants. We have a Fiscus plant in our house and it is a Bonzai Fiscus. Now I also read that Iguanas are not supposed to eat Weeping Fiscus because they are Toxic. So, as you have guessed, my question is can I feed Trixy ( my iguana ) the leaves from this Bonzai Fiscus? If not, how can I tell which Fiscus plants are not toxic??
Thanx in advance for you help..
Richard

Hey there, How about not feeding Trixie any Fiscus. Better to be safe than sorry. I know that chameleons can eat the standard Fiscus leaves and only the leaves. I have these in with my chameleons but if they are well fed they will not even eat these. Iguana's are much different and the vet bills or death from poisioning can be costly. So maybe just not chance it at all. As long as your feeding him the proper greens and not lettuce he/she should be fine
