ahhh.... living in Florida I see hibiscus around all the time. Actually, I think it keeps blooming year around
There were a few plants in the backyard of the prios house, but none at the new house. I have been looking at some they have at Lowes.

Patrick, I happen to be a Horticulturalist and it is a lot easier to start a Hibiscus from cuttings than from seed, use sharp scissors or pruners to cut a branch tip at an angle, dip the cut in a rooting aid solution(available at most nurseries) then place in a small container(you can use egg cartons or buy something suitable) water regularly and keep well lit and within a month they should be rooted well enough to transplant to a larger pot.

Well here in the Virgin Islands they grow year round so I try not to give it to Noah to much since it is always around. But I might start...I hear it makes a real good juice to if you know how to make it.

Mitchtoby...you sound like you have the ideal place for keeping an iguana...:-) You're lucky to have a lot of natural foods already growing there...:-D
