Tug of war nothing. I am waiting to see the pics of the first bite when it gets around 4 feet. Those rear fangs will make some neat conversation pieces. hahaha

Hi Patrick, Lets start from the beginning. Tell us everything you've done and what you have tried. Are you trying to feed F/T or live? Are you still handling? Is the critter kept in a high traffic area?

Have you tried the LizardMaker stuff yet? Usually that site takes a long time to ship.

Hey Scott Well moved IT to the sunroom no traffic on top of a dresser temps is still the same Defrost frozen pinky let it in there over night tried holding it in front of him tried about everything but live but I can not find live here humidity is up tried about every thing the guy I bought him from said he ate 6 days before I bought him and he was 6 months old Now I am going to try this lizard drops next and if not I may try some frogs I really hate to do that do the parasites that maybe in the frog. Plus it was in the sunroom now for a couple of day before I tried to feed it again and I have stop handling sense the last time Plus the guy I bought him From told me to shake it in front of IT to make him strike at it and if that did work rub the pinky over top of his head... He said it worked for him Now I have Question When is the best time to feed this guy? at night or in the morning? Hey Collin it has been Shipped but have not got it yet. That is next thing I am going to Try....

I feed mine around 7: 30 pm or around 2 hours after sunset. Keep trying to find live pinkies. Someone near you has to be breeding mice. Mine is 2 years old and still refuses F/T. Try asking around some breeder forums.

Hey Scott
I will try and feeding him around the same time at night. Elizabeth I have read were they go from night to dawn for feeding. Collin I am going to try using that Lizard stuff got it yesterday in the mail and I am going to a reptile show tomorrow. Maybe I can pick up some live pinkies there or get some information on where I can get some live from a breeder. The show is here in my town so I am crossing my fingers
Elizabeth it’s the All Cleveland Reptile Show Tomorrow what you say !!!! Leave tonight and get here and tomorrow go and pick you up a new lizard and go home Plus you can use the tank you have from the iggys
Now I have a Question on live pinky’s How do I keep them alive?

You don't. You buy 2 or 3 and see how it goes. If it doesn't eat them and they die, I always have monitors willing to eat anything. Something else, what is your heat source? If it a heat rock or pad, turn them off and let the lizard use it's heat sensors to find the food. Reason I don't use heat pads or rocks with my snakes. If the floor of the cage is hot, how can they find their prey? Heat rocks are also known to malfunction and cause burns. I just use simple lights for a heat source on all my scaley critters.

Hey Scott
I will buy 2 to see how it works. I have a Che heater over top and I am think of turning it off when I feed IT next that may be the problem.
I am having with him not eating he is not getting the heat from the pinky and going after it. So I will try that after I try a live one or two.
Thanks Scott you are helping me out here a lot!!!!!
Elizabeth
Well I will plan on you being here in Dec. and I really hope you do and you never know I may pitch in on the new Uro for you and say Merry Christmas LOL!!!!!!
Well hope you can make it and bring Emma along I think she will Love Josh and the dogs and the cat and the snake and the lizards.
So I well be counting on you to come and then maybe next time the boys can come with you or if you like which I know you won’t bring all 3
Tell them there going on a camp out LOL!!!!! With lizards and snakes and wild dogs and a big cat LOL!!!!!!!!!!
